Payments & Billing
Choosing how you charge
Turn payments off, take a deposit, or collect the full amount at booking — and when to use each.
You control whether — and how much — customers pay when they book. Set it under Settings → Payments.
The three modes
- Off — no online payment. Customers book and pay you in person. Simplest to start.
- Deposit — a set amount up front (say, $15, or the equivalent in your currency). The rest is paid at the visit. Great for cutting no-shows without asking for everything.
- Full — the entire price at booking. Best when the service is fixed-price and you want to be paid before the work.
A booking is only confirmed once payment succeeds — so if you ask for a deposit or full payment, you'll never hold a slot for an unpaid booking.
Which should you use?
- Just getting started / trust-based regulars → Off. Keep it frictionless.
- No-shows are costing you → Deposit. Even a small one changes behavior.
- Fixed-price services, pay-before-work → Full.
You can change modes any time, and the choice applies to new bookings going forward.
